On Tuesday 24th March, an article about the importance of reading aloud was published in the times2 supplement of The Times. It’s all about what get people out of listening to stories and why it’s so important that we continue to both listen and read. Damian Barr, the journalist behind the article, got in touch with me a few months ago to talk about my experiences of being a ‘Reader-in-Residence’ and of reading to people. His article makes a few references to this project at Bibby Line Group and some of you may find it interesting to take a look. Click here if so.
